ESA Foundation: A non-profit/tax exempt organization pledged to develop: philanthropic activities of volunteers, provide assistance in established programs that serve human needs, and produce new programs to improve the quality of life. The Internal Revenue Service has rules that the ESA Foundation is exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Codes, as an organization operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. HOPE FOR HEROES If you would like to send cards to troops overseas, you can contact - Chip Shaffer at firstname.lastname@example.org. He has addresses to share. Remember to send cards that the military can send back to their families and friends. We have picked up Iraq again so shipments need to be small and necessary items that are needed. Hygiene items, snacks, candy are at the top of the list. Regular shipments (SAM) need to go out by November 25, 2016. Priority mail by December 2, 2016.
